Meet Bryan. In 2009, at 30 years old, and two months before his wedding to Christie, he was diagnosed with an inoperable glioblastoma tumor in his brain stem - and given 6 months to live.
Since that time, Bryan and Christie have alternately battled and thrived, and were ultimately blessed with the arrival of the joy of their life, 9-year-old Tessa.
Now, Bryan and Christie are facing a serious health challenge as Bryan fights renewed growth of his brain tumor, and their circle of family and friends wanted to do something to help lighten the load.
Bryan is currently unable to meaningfully work as he focuses on his treatment and health. Christie continues to carry their family forward with grace, but the costs of medical, practical, nursing care, and everyday expenses that come with a season like this add up fast.
As the people who love them, this fundraiser is our way of helping carry some of that weight. People have asked how to help, wanting to send DoorDash, Uber, gift cards, etc. Creating this Fund is our way of streamlining the process. Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, your prayers, words of encouragement, and sharing this fundraiser are deeply appreciated. This family feels every bit of love sent their way.
Thank you for being part of their village.
With love and gratitude,
Teresa Guenley, Andi Heintz, & Nicole (Bishop) Hamilton
A Note From Bryan and Christie:
"We’re deeply moved that Teresa, Andi and Nicole wanted to do this for us. Bryan’s health has thrown a lot our way this year, and while we’re fortunate that we’re financially steady day-to-day, there’s real cost — practical, emotional, logistical — that comes with a fight like this. If you feel moved to contribute, please know it goes toward making this chapter a little lighter for our family. And if not, just knowing you’re in our corner means everything.”
