Support Bryan: A Veteran in Need
Dear family and friends,
I'm reaching out on behalf of our cousin, Bryan, who bravely served our country during the first Iraq war. Right now, Bryan is facing a challenging and uncertain time, and we’re asking for your help to keep him from losing his home.
Over the past ten months, Bryan has been struggling with the debilitating effects of long COVID. His condition has prevented him from working and ultimately led to the loss of his job. Despite his best efforts to find new employment, his health has remained a significant hurdle. Just recently, Bryan fainted due to low blood pressure and irregular heart activity, requiring a CAT scan. We’re all waiting on the results, hoping for some clarity and a path forward.
Bryan has applied for veterans' benefits, but the process is slow, and time is running out. He now faces the very real threat of eviction and homelessness. While JC, Heather, Mandy, Jennifer Long Phillips, Nicole Smith and I are doing everything we can to support him, including securing employment, the financial burden is overwhelming.
We’re aiming to raise $5,000 to cover Bryan’s immediate expenses, including rent and basic necessities, while he awaits his benefits and continues to search for work. This support will provide Bryan with the stability he needs to focus on his recovery and get back on his feet.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a tremendous difference. Let’s come together as a family to help Bryan through this difficult time. Your support, kindness, and prayers are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for standing with Bryan.
With gratitude,
Joe
