Support Bruno's Road Trip to Life and Love

Hi, my name is Bruno and I was abandoned by my owners at the animal shelter in Dallas Texas and I'm looking for a little help getting to my new home.

I am a gentle, sweet Husky Kelpie mix and I just turned 1. Because no one wanted me, I was to be euthanized on June 15 for space at the shelter. I just want to live and be loved.

I was given a second chance to live a happy life full of love and outdoor adventure up in Vancouver Washington in a new home that will love me. My new human is flying to Dallas this week to pick me up. Unfortunately, I got a little upper respiratory infection here at the shelter and can not get a health certificate that allows me to fly back on the plane.

My new human is renting a one way rental pickup to drive me to my new home but it's going to cost $1500 for the rental and gas to make the 2,000 mile trip.

I am hoping for a little help getting home and am appealing to the kindness of doggie lovers to chip any amount to help. Your small contribution will really help my new human offset this unexpected expenditure to get me home another way now that I got a little sick at the shelter.

After being let down by my former human, I sadly figured that my adoption would fall through now that I caught this crud and can't fly home. I expected to be led down the hall to the room that I've seen my shelter mates go and not return. I accepted that I would never get to live a happy life in a loving home but this human is sticking with me no matter what.
