Hello, my name is Jabari Harris. Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve wanted a dog. Growing up, I was never able to have one, but once I became an adult, my friend and I began fostering dogs from a local rescue. About 8 years ago, one of the fosters stole my heart and I decided to adopt him as my own. His name is Bruno, and he's the best dog (and friend) I could've asked for!

Recently, while running in the backyard, he injured his left hind leg. Veterinarians have diagnosed him with a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament, and have recommended surgery.

Unfortunately, my current financial situation makes it very difficult for me to afford the surgery, which can run between $2000 and $4500. This is why I've decided to create a GoFundMe page.

I’ve taken out a loan, and applied for other financial assistance to help pay for his surgery, but it will still be a struggle for me to afford it.
