Aloha Ohana,

As many of you know, our dear friend Bruno has recently been affected by a tragic accident where a 7ft brick wall collapsed while he was working along with two other men and a life was lost. Bruno’s future at this time is unknown as his spine has been affected, in addition the ability to move his legs and walk is not guaranteed. In times like this, we come together to support our own.

Those who know Bruno and his wife would say that they are an outgoing and generous couple. From simply playing and entertaining others and their keiki to bringing a pot of soup when one is sick, they even will go out of their way to loaning their vehicle when asked. These are only a few examples of how they have a heart of gold. To say they would give their shirt off their back is an understatement. Bruno and his wife go the extra mile when others are in need. In February Bruno lost his mom after she was struck by a vehicle, a week later his wife was in a car accident when someone failed to stop at an intersection and totaled her car. It has truly been a challenging start to the new year.

We are asking the community to come together and help one of our own. For this reason a GoFundMe has been initiated to help them rebuild/recover. The funds raised will be used for medical expenses, physical therapy, food and wages lost during his recovery to help them get back on their feet.
