Support Bruna in her legal fight with ICE

Dear CommUNITY,

This is a heartfelt call to all who have been touched by the beautiful spirit of our dear sister, Bruna.

At the beginning of March, Bruna was detained by ICE. As you can imagine, she is now facing immense challenges. In the midst of this difficult time, those of us on the outside are working together to raise funds for a lawyer to support her through the next steps of this process most likely involving her return to Brazil.

We’re seeking support to cover legal fees, a plane ticket home, and, if possible, a bit extra to help Bruna land on her feet and begin healing from the trauma of being detained.

She has an upcoming court date in mid-April, so time is of the essence.
