Support Bruce’s Health Journey

My name is Christian Harrison and my husband, Bruce, needs a full liver transplant. Unfortunately, this rules out any chance of a living donor, even if we did find a match.

I have been out of work for almost a year now to become a caretaker for Bruce. Taking him to appointments, driving to procedures, making sure he takes his medication and follows doctor's orders, etc. Due to the chaotic nature of not knowing when appointments might be and the last-minute nature of some of them, I have been unable to work a regular job. Especially now, as he continues to decline, he’s not really able to be left alone. In the last two months, he’s fallen and broken both of his arms. So he was to the point of not being able to dress himself.  

Now, we’ve gotten to the point where they are saying he may not even make it to be able to get a transplant. Which means a lot more out of town doctor appointments to try and do everything we can to make sure he gets there. 

I hate to even ask, but I don’t really know where else to go now. We mostly need monetary help for gas and expenses, hotel rooms for when we have to travel for appointments, and household bills that have begun to pile up. I do have an every-other-weekend job I am able to do, so we really don’t need a lot. Just anything extra anybody might have. It would be so very appreciated.
