My Name is Mason Isaac, and I am serving as the current President of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity's Alpha Psi Chapter. As a chapter, we are calling to action anyone with a good heart to help us support our brother Bruce Williams in his battle against pancreatic cancer.
Bruce previously worked a 15-year stretch at our chapter as a janitor here in Bloomington, IN, until this past fall. However, over the years, Bruce became more to our brotherhood than just a janitor; he became one of us. Bruce's heart of gold and kind spirit illuminated the halls of the property day in and day out. His ever-present smile brightened generations of brothers' days, and his commitment to keeping our property clean while doing so was both impressive and unique. Although not the most glamorous job, Bruce stuck with it because of the bond formed between him and the undergraduates of our chapter.
Bruce was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this past April and after all he's done for us, giving him the financial assistance he needs is an obligation we will not shy away from. Bruce is one of us, and we don't plan on leaving any brother behind. If you've spent any time at our chapter house over the past 2 decades, there is a good chance Bruce cleaned up after you in some way, shape, or form. Help us support him by making a donation of any size and/or sending prayers his way.
We will be hosting a barbecue on September 2nd from 5-8pm at the Chapter house with a 10 dollar entry fee for anyone who wants to show their support to Bruce in person. We'll have burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and beverages available.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO BRUCE WILLIAMS AND HIS FAMILY TO SUPPORT HIM IN HIS BATTLE.
