Bruce has worked as a Personal Support Worker for 17 years, dedicating his life to caring for others. At home, he is also raising and supporting his three grandchildren.

Even before his diagnosis, it was difficult to keep up with bills and groceries. Now, Bruce is facing a tough battle with cancer. He needs 8 weeks of daily radiation treatments, traveling an hour each way, five days a week, along with chemotherapy. His work benefits are very limited and will be cut off if he is away from work for more than 45 days, which adds even more stress during an already overwhelming time.
