Support Bruce Shaw's Medical Recovery

Hi everyone. For those of you who know Bruce Shaw, you know that he is the life of any party, and if you don't know him, you're missing out. Bruce is someone who loves his family and friends, enjoys riding in his Slingshot and letting his beard blow in the wind, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. At this time, his party is on hold while he recovers from a major medical surgery, and we are hoping to raise some money to help him and Roxie with some of their medical expenses.

Since December 2024, Bruce has been in and out of the hospital experiencing major health complications due to immense abdominal pain. He was taken to the ER where he was thought to have a UC flare-up and was then sent home, only to return to the ER a couple of weeks later in even more pain. Once a CT scan was completed, it was determined that he had a perforated colon, blood infection, and norovirus. On January 15th, 2025, Bruce underwent a two-part emergency surgery in which the doctors did not have high hopes of him recovering from.

In true Bruce fashion, he kicked ass and won the battle! Within a few hours of his final surgery, he was nodding his head to music and being the sarcastic smart-ass that he is. While we are absolutely thrilled that he has made it through the surgeries, he still has a long fight ahead of him.

Unfortunately, he does not have health insurance at this time and it's going to be a challenge to overcome this adversity, so hospital bills will be immense. Any donations on behalf of him and his family would be greatly appreciated.
