On 11/12/25 at 11pm, my father, Bruce Ricker, took his last breaths and joined his mother up in heaven. My father fought a long, courageous battle with cancer and gave it his all. Unfortunately, the fight got too hard, and he wanted to be at peace.

With the unexpected decline, we were unable to transfer him home from Boston, MA, back to Presque Isle, ME, for hospice end-of-life care. So now we have the expenses of transporting his body back home on top of all his normal funeral arrangements.

My brother and I have been down in Boston since October 2nd, fighting this battle right beside him every step of the way. With that being said, I was 8 hours from home, so my husband had to take time off work to be able to stay home with our 3 kids, and my brother also had to take time off work to be here as well for the last 6 weeks. Any help or donations we could get in honor of our amazing father Bruce would mean SO much to us. We want nothing more than to have the best burial for him. We know he has many, many friends and family that would love to help us during this time, so I’m creating this as a way for people to be able to help as they wish to.
