Support Bruce Palmer's Fight Against Cancer

Due to the outpouring of love and requests by family and friends to help, we had set up a Meal Train, but with Dad having little to no appetite right now, we decided to pause it. Instead, for those who wish to give in some way, we have set up a Go Fund Me to help with Dad’s medical expenses and to use for meals when his appetite returns.
We can’t thank you all enough for the prepared meals, gift cards, monetary gifts, and most importantly, the prayers you’ve been praying. Your love and support means the world to Dad and to all of us.♥️
On May 8th our Dad, Bruce Palmer, went to the doctor for a persistent cough that was causing him to have trouble breathing. After an X-ray revealed a tumor on his right lung, they sent him straight to the ER. A CT scan that evening showed a cancerous mass. The biopsy (5/9) came back Wednesday (5/14) and confirmed his diagnosis to be stage 4 lung cancer that’s also in his bones. An MRI on his brain late Wednesday returned clear and a second chest x-ray showed no change/progression from the first x-ray last Thursday (5/8). Thank you, Lord!
Dad started chemo Thursday (5/15) and will have it every 20 days- they noticed it working pretty quickly. He started radiation on Monday (5/19).
Please continue to keep praying for Dad! Prayers that the Lord will keep him from experiencing any sickness or other side effects from treatments and continued prayers for peace, comfort, and healing!
Dad is a fighter and is determined to beat this! His LOVE for people and Jesus, and his BOLD FAITH is inspiring! He will do anything for anyone who asks and we believe it will be through that compassion and faith that the Lord will bring healing and all that we ask! Luke 8:43-48 We love you, Dad! ♥️
Thank you all for your continued prayers, love, and support for Dad and our family during this time!
