Support Bruce and Bennet in their Transition Goals

Hello! My name is Bruce/Albany, and my husband, Bennet, and I are asking for help.

While this year has brought us many hardships like an emergency surgery and unexpected financial hardships that have nearly fully depleted our bank accounts, we have also experienced great joy. Both Bennet and I are planning on getting life changing gender affirming surgeries that we have been waiting for for our whole lives. After moving here from Florida at 18, nearly 6 years later the opportunity has finally come that I can truly live my most authentic self. Bennet has been out for nearly 12 years, and is finally in a place that he can see transition goals come to fruition.

Looking forward to these kinds of gender affirming surgeries have been a big part in our pursuit to continue our lives being ourselves, especially in this political climate we're in.

It's incredibly exciting but also is almost $4500 more expensive than we were anticipating. I know this year has been really rough on everyone and asking for help has been a difficult decision to make, relying on our community is something we all need to tap into more.
