Hi, my name is Amy, and I’m asking for help for my dog, Brownie.

Brownie is 12 years old and has been part of our family for as long as I can remember. He grew up alongside me and my sibling, and he’s always been more than just a pet he’s truly family. He was there with me through my pregnancy, and now he’s my baby’s best friend. The bond they share is so special.

Recently, Brownie was attacked by another dog and suffered severe injuries. He was bitten in the neck, which tore his trachea and cut an artery. It was terrifying, and he needed emergency surgery right away to save his life.

The cost of his surgery and care has come out to $1,700, something we were not prepared for. With my baby’s first birthday coming up, this unexpected expense has put a lot of financial strain on us.

I’m asking for any help anyone can give whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this story. Every little bit truly means so much to us and will go directly toward Brownie’s medical expenses and recovery.
