GoFundMe Campaign: Help Keep Preaching Schools in Haiti and the Dominican Republic Open

Hello, my name is David Bozdogan, and I am a member of the West Broward Church of Christ in Plantation, Florida. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to support the incredible work of Brother Joe Worndle, a dedicated missionary who has spent over three decades uplifting the Haitian and Dominican communities through education, spiritual guidance, and humanitarian aid.

For more than 20 years, Brother Worndle has devoted his life to teaching, preaching, and establishing schools of preaching, Christian schools, and orphanages. His mission is to spiritually uplift communities, feed the hungry, clothe the poor, and shelter children in need. Through his leadership, hundreds of churches of Christ have been established across Haiti and the Dominican Republic. He has also formed Timothy Teams, comprised of trained native preachers, who travel throughout Haiti to convert denominational congregations to the truth of Christ and foster self-sufficient local churches.

However, Brother Worndle is now facing an urgent crisis. Due to financial constraints, he risks closing several schools of preaching and Christian schools that provide education, hope, and spiritual guidance to hundreds of men, women, and children. His heartfelt emails reveal the gravity of the situation:

"If we keep it up with our financial losses, we will have to close our preaching schools and Christian schools. We have already lost over 40% of our working fund. I am near to giving up, but I have not lost faith in God's providence."

Despite these immense challenges, Brother Worndle's faith remains unshaken. He continues to serve selflessly, even amidst political unrest, poverty, and hardship. His health has also been impacted, yet he remains steadfast in his mission to create self-sufficient leaders who can carry on the work independently.

Your support can make a tremendous difference. By contributing to this campaign, you will help:

  • Keep the three schools of preaching open, ensuring that future preachers and church leaders are trained to guide their congregations.
  • Sustain over 70 Christian schools, which provide education to thousands of children who would otherwise have no access to learning.
  • Maintain vital orphanages and feeding programs, which offer shelter and nutrition to vulnerable children.
  • Support clinics that provide dental and prenatal care to those in need.

Brother Worndle’s work embodies Christ’s teachings of love, compassion, and selflessness. His legacy has transformed countless lives, but without urgent assistance, this incredible mission may come to a halt.

As a church, we are making this collection in direct response to his plea for help. We pray that God’s will is done and that the preaching schools can remain open to continue spreading the Gospel of Christ.

We invite you to join us in this mission of faith and hope. No contribution is too small, and every donation will go directly toward ensuring that these schools and programs continue to bless the Haitian and Dominican communities for years to come.

Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and support. May God bless you abundantly.

Warm regards,
David Bozdogan
