Dear Brothers and Sisters of FOP Lodge 92:
As you may or may not know, Brother Tom Wines has been a member of FOPLodge 92 for years. He has held the title of Lodge Secretary and has devoted countless hours of his own time towards the furtherance of our Lodge’s mission. He also serves as an shop steward, helping his fellow Agent’s against unfair labor practices by management and unsafe working conditions.
Over a month ago, Brother Wines was functioning in his role as a shop steward attempting to address an unsafe work environment on behalf of his fellow employees. For his efforts, Brother Wines was suspended without pay. Brother Wines has always put the well-being of his fellow Lodge Brothers and Agents ahead of his own.
Now it’s time for us to take care of our own. While Brother Wines is on suspension without pay, his bills continue to mount. We are setting a up a Go Fund Me account, and asking all Lodge Brothers, Agents, and concerned citizens to consider making a financial contribution to help us as we set up our Benevolent Fund. Our Lodge stands united with any brother/sister who is persecuted by unfair labor practices, and we will continue to support our members in their time of need.
Fraternally Yours,
Paul Descano, President
