Support Brooklynn's Fight Against Glioblastoma
Donation protected
Sometimes in life, you need the right words to get you through the ups and downs. This is the time to come together as friends, family and a community to build hope and support for Brookylnn and her five-year-old daughter Aurora.
Brook assumed she was having headaches, blurred vision, and nausea from the stress of daily life and being a single mom. After multiple episodes of extreme head pain and blurred vision, she blacked out and finally took herself to the ER a week ago, January 8th, 2025. After some testing, Brook was told the devastating news: she had a brain tumor and was being rushed to Munster Community Neuroscience ICU. She was then diagnosed with - terminal Glioblastoma Cancer. Brook is heading to the University of Chicago next week to implement a treatment plan.
This diagnosis, being terminal, has rightfully so turned the family upside down. Brook and Aurora had to move into Tracy and Debbie's as she cannot live on her own anymore. She is still responsible for her own household bills and is no longer able to work to support herself and Aurora, on which she prides herself. This has also been a devastating hit for her despite her positive attitude.
Your gift will also help Brook with extensive medical bills and travel to and from hospitals for upcoming appointments, surgeries, and treatments.
Brook is the strongest woman I know, and at the young age of 29, she is staying positive and showing resilience. Brook has many wishes for herself and daughter. These donations will help them to be able to spend the best time together without the worry and stress of finances. This would mean so much to Brook, who is a hard-working mother. Our goal is to make this wish a reality.
Every little bit helps. If you can’t contribute a monetary amount, a homemade card, or a kind word are appreciated. Whatever your religious preferences are, please pray, send good vibes/energy.
Update 2/3/2025
From Aunt Dawn
Hi Everyone.
I know many of you have been thinking and praying for Brooklynn and wondering how she is doing, so here is the latest update. Brooklynn had two appointments today. One appointment to have her staples removed and the other with the oncologist hoping to find out the results from Mayo Clinic. Unfortunately, there is still too much swelling in Brooklynn’s head so the staples were not removed and they do not have the final report from Mayo Clinic. With that being said Brooklynn now has another appointment next Monday to hopefully have the staples removed and go over the report. Once they have the final results, a treatment plan will then be put in place. Please continue to pray as Brooklynn has had a lot of really bad headaches on top of the fact, Brooklynn, Aurora, my sister Debbie, and Tracy have all come down with the flu and have been really really sick. So sick that they have not even really been able to take care of one another. Please continue to pray for positive results and healing for my family. Also, thank you again to all those who have donated and helped out in anyway to support our family❤️
