Please support Brooks with his rare cancer fight
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, the Lancaster county community and compassionate neighbors from all over.
For over a decade Brooks with the support of his family has been privately fighting a rare life threatening disease. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic and hereditary paraganglioma cancer. The problem with this disease is that it’s not specific to one system or location, these tumors pop up anywhere and everywhere in the body to start growing.
His most recent visit to the hospital made it clear that they need to ask for help. The next step in his fight is to undergo a surgery to remove a large tumor growing under and through his skull. Once he gets this surgery, he will need additional treatments on his back where tumors have affected his vertebrae. With this disease it also takes Brooks exponentially longer to recuperate, meaning it is a long road for him and his family.
Brooks has been married to his best friend for 21 years and together they have raised three beautiful, respectful children. He is a blue collar, small business owner that has been serving his community as a master plumber. Being his family’s breadwinner while his wife has been the families sole caregiver. Brooks has always taken great pride in taking care of his families physical and spiritual needs. Since his diagnosis he has made it an even bigger point to create lasting memorable experiences with his loved ones. Brooks enjoys mountain biking, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors.
Together with you we would like to help him continue to support his family during this especially difficult time, so his main focus can be healing and he can have more time with his family. All donations will go towards helping the Mundy family pay medical bills and keep up with the cost of living during his surgery and recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post, every dollar counts no matter how big or small. We do understand that not everyone has the means to donate at this time, so we ask if you could please share this post with others in our community. Thank you!
