Support Brooklyn's Recovery from Devastating Hit and Run

Hi everyone,

On May 29th, 2025, our sweet girl Brooklyn was the victim of a devastating hit and run. By some miracle, she survived — but she’s currently in the ICU at the emergency vet, facing a long road ahead. Right now, she’s stable and comfortable, but we’ve been told she needs surgery for a dislocated arm, torn ligaments, among other ongoing treatments.

We’re still waiting on final estimates, but initial costs are expected to reach at least $10,000 — not including potential follow-up care or physical therapy. As you can imagine, this was a tragedy no one could prepare for.

Anyone who knows Brooklyn knows she’s more than just a pet — she’s family, and Lauren’s best friend. She’s brought so much love, joy, and comfort into her life, and watching her fight through this has been both heartbreaking and awe-inspiring.

We’re completely overwhelmed by the support and kindness so many of you have already shown on social media and in person. It means more than we can ever say. If you’re able to help financially — even a small amount — it will go directly toward Brooklyn’s medical bills and recovery.
