As many of you know, Brooklyn is scheduled to undergo her fifth open heart surgery on August 21st in Houston. This procedure will require her to be away from home for approximately 3 to 4 weeks or longer, depending on her recovery.

This surgery will require her to take significant time off from work (estimated to be 8 to 12 weeks), but Brooklyn also does not have paid leave through work , which places a tremendous financial burden on her during this difficult time.

This GoFundMe has been created to help alleviate some of the financial stress she will face, allowing her to focus solely on healing and getting back to her normal life. The funds raised will go directly toward covering her medical expenses, and travel costs for her extended stay in Houston, as well as daily living expenses while she is unable to work.
