Support Brooklyn's Medical Journey
Donation protected
If you have been fortunate enough to know, and be a part of, the Homann Karate do family you'll agree that FAMILY is the correct word. Having joined HKD in 1999, the benefits of our family's schooling has been unmeasurable! The dedication, perseverance, loyalty and leadership our family absorbed through 12 years of classes has paid off 100 fold. The Homann's are the most generous, giving, patient and kind family! So, in return for all they have given us, we are setting up this Go-Fund-Me account in hopes that you all will donate on behalf of their daughter Brooklyn who is presently having major medical issues. Brooklyn was admitted to the hospital for fever and low blood pressure and was found to have a severe infection secondary to a bowel obstruction. The doctors discovered that Brooklyn has a condition called Superior Mesenteric Artery (SMA) syndrome, which is when one of the major arteries in the gut constricts and blocks a portion of the small intestine. After treating her infection, they were able to place a feeding tube in her intestines which bypasses the obstruction.
