Just weeks after losing our mother, our family is now facing another heartbreaking challenge. Her best friend and loyal companion, Brooklyn, has been diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor. This dog was truly my Moms shadow, her constant source of comfort, love, and joy through every moment.

Now, in the wake of her passing, Brooklyn's village is trying to do everything we can to care for her and give her the chance my mom would have wanted for her. She is currently staying with our close friends Ashley and Lauren, who are giving her all of the love and care while our family is trying to get other things in order.

Our next steps to better understand her prognosis and journey are expensive, but it’s her best hope for recovery and a longer, happy, tail-wagging life.

Her next appointment would include all tests: x-ray, ultrasound, and full blood panel, to know if we can move forward with ultimately a surgery for the tumor removal.
