Support Brooklyn and her Families Battle Against All Odds

Unfortunately, on Friday, April 12th, 2024, disaster struck…….

Brooklyn is fighting an unprecented resurgence of meningitis, and is truly fighting for her life.

Our wonderful superhero Brooklyn at an extremely young age was stricken with a severe case of meningitis that left her severely disabled. Since then, she has brazenly and boldly defied medical science and lived much longer than any medical expert ever believed was possible. Brooklyn just turned 13 years old. Despite being nearly non-verbal and physically unable to care for herself, she is full of personality, feisty, funny, and truly a joy to be around.

Her parents have spent over a decade fighting tooth and nail with her, along with working full time jobs. Both as healthcare workers, tower climbers, public service, and private security. Her mother especially has built her entire life around caring for Brooklyn, and loving her unconditionally.

Her mother and father, Angela and Ray, are by her side at the Medical University of South Carolina. Anyone who knows them are more than aware of their undying loyalty to their daughter. Every superhero needs a sidekick or two, and Brooklyn needs her mother and father with her. Any funds collected shall be used to help them pay bills and for her needs and medical supplies once she comes home. Her parents need to be able to focus on Brooklyn for the time being.
