On December 19, 2025, just seven days before my daughter Brooklynn's 20th birthday, she received the heartbreaking news of her father Craig Stephen Conely's untimely passing in North Carolina. This loss has deeply affected our family, and we are now faced with the emotional and financial challenges that come with saying goodbye to a loved one so suddenly and far from home.

The funds raised will help us cover the costs of end-of-life arrangements and planning a celebration of life for Craig. They will also support Brooklynn's travel and living expenses while she is in North Carolina, as well as help with living expenses at home in New Mexico. Unfortunately, her employer doesn't offer bereavement pay, so the loss of income during this time adds to the burden we are carrying.
