Hi!
My name is Brooklyn Woods.
I’m a 21-year-old halfpipe skier, college student studying Environmental Product Design, graphic designer at Salomon, and climate activist with nonprofit HEAL Utah.
While competing is a huge part of my life, creating longevity in sport, and a more equitable future for athletes like myself and the next generation means more. That’s why I choose to balance skiing, school, and sustainability work.
I fully support myself financially, so every decision I make from where I train to when I compete is strategic. Most athletes attend multiple training camps over the summer, but I have to make every dollar count by aligning training with competition.
I came into freestyle skiing at a later age, but my background in competitive gymnastics has given me the foundation to progress quickly. Last year, I competed on the North American circuit placing top 10 throughout the season. This fall, I need to attend two key training camps to be competitive in qualifying for the World Cup circuit:
1. Cardrona, New Zealand
September 18 - October 12
2. Kitzsteinhorn, Austria
November 8 - December 2
Your support covers airfare, lift passes, and elite coaching with airbag access at these two camps. The total cost comes to $10,000.00.
Safe progression is necessary as a high performance athlete, especially at the level required to compete with the world’s best. This isn’t just about me, it’s about showing what’s possible when women in freesking are given the space and support to go further.
Thank you for being apart of this journey!
