Support for Brooklyn During His Recovery

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, Brooklyn recently suffered a heart attack and had emergency open-heart surgery. While we are hopeful for his recovery, the road ahead will be a challenging one. As a self-employed handyman, Brooklyn doesn't have the support of paid sick leave, short-term disability, or long-term disability. Since his job is very physical, he will be out of work for an extended period of time while he heals.
