Help Brooklyn & her family through her diagnosis of Breast Cancer:

Our friend Brooke has recently received the devastating news that she has invasive ductal carcinoma, Grade 3 — an aggressive form of breast cancer, that is also unresponsive to hormone therapies. At 24 years old, she’s facing the fight of her life while also raising her two beautiful kids.

As a single income family, the financial burden of this diagnosis is overwhelming. Although Carsten’s work has been offering flexible hours, being present for Brooke and their young family during treatment will require significant time off of work.

While the full treatment plan is still being developed as we wait for full body CT scan results, we know that the road ahead will come with significant financial strain. Medical bills, travel for appointments, time off work, and care for her children all add up quickly. It’s looking like Brooke will need surgery, as well as potentially other treatments as well.
