Support Brooke's Urgent Elbow Surgery

A little over a year ago, our daughter Brooke dislocated and broke her elbow (a very unusual place to have issues). Initially, resetting the elbow and physical therapy were prescribed, but after the 4th dislocation and emergency room visit, we sought additional help from specialists.

Unfortunately, this is a rare problem and ultimately no doctors in our area specialize in elbow reconstruction. We found two specialists in Utah that will work together on the surgery, but insurance has denied our appeals three times, stating it is investigational.

In order for Brooke to have surgery and regain use of her arm, we are told it will be $70,000 out of pocket. We are looking at many avenues to fund her surgery.

She is young and active, and we'd like to give her the best possible chance at recovering the use of her arm.
