Hello friends and family, I’m starting this GoFundMe for my daughter, Brooke. On January 31st, I found her unresponsive in her home after she had been alone for hours. She was rushed to Mercy Hospital, where she was admitted to the ICU and placed on a ventilator. What followed were days filled with uncertainty, fear, and constant prayer. After intensive care, Brooke was moved to the ICU step-down unit, and I am incredibly grateful to share that she was released this past Saturday (2/7). She is now recovering at my home under my care. This GoFundMe is to help support Brooke and our family during her recovery. The medical bills are already mounting, and there are many unknowns ahead — time missed from work, uncertainty about when she’ll be able to return, medications, and the possible need for a caregiver while she works to regain her memory. Brooke does not have health insurance, which has added an overwhelming financial burden during an already incredibly stressful time. Our biggest goal right now is to allow Brooke to focus fully on healing and getting back to the life she loves — especially being there for her 4-year-old daughter, who means everything to her.
