Support Brooke's Fight for Life

Hi, my name is Justin, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. My dog Brooke—my best friend, my constant companion, my family, and my soul dog —needs urgent life-saving surgery to remove her spleen.

Brooke is 12 years old and the absolute light of my life. If you've met her you know how special and pure this dog is. We’ve been through so much together. She has seen me through the worst and the best parts of my life. No matter what we faced, she was always there to calm me. She has carried me through more than I can explain, and now it’s my turn to fight for her.

At her recent check-up, a mass was found on her spleen. It was a surprise, because Brooke has been acting completely normal—eating, playing, we walk 4 miles daily, and she loves her walks. She’s full of life, and full of love. She still has so much energy, so much spirit. It’s not her time.

After an ultrasound confirmed it’s a splenic mass, her surgery—a splenectomy—is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd). This surgery needs to be done asap to prevent a rupture. And she will need treatment after. It’s her best chance, and I’m doing everything I can to give it to her.
