Update on Brooke ❤️ We finally have the news we’ve been holding our breath for: Brooke received her double lung transplant, and she is doing well. Her courage through every step of this journey has been incredible, and seeing her with this second chance at life is something we will never take for granted. That said, we know this is just the beginning of a long road ahead. Recovery from a transplant is intense, unpredictable, and requires constant monitoring. Brooke will be in the hospital for an extended period, and it remains essential that I stay close to her so she can heal with as much comfort and stability as possible. We want to say thank you — truly — for the overwhelming love, support, and generosity we’ve received. Your kindness has carried us through the hardest weeks of our lives. We are asking for your continued support as we navigate this next chapter and work to keep Brooke and me together throughout her recovery. We are endlessly grateful to the incredible hospital staff who have cared for her with such compassion and expertise. And most importantly, our hearts are with the donor and their family.
