My fiancé Brooke had this small abscess that started as something small and turned into something that could be deadly. Tuesday November 11, I took her to the ER where they diagnosed it as an abscess, drained it and sent us home with antibiotics. the next day, it looked worse so I decided to take her back to the hospital on Wednesday November 12th. when we got there, they immediately started taking action, realizing she was borderline septic and that this was more than an abscess. after TONS of blood work and ct scans, they were able to diagnose her with MRSA. MRSA is a more advanced staph infection and can very quickly be deadly as it has lots of resistance to antibiotics. She has been being pumped all hours of the day with 3 different types of aggressive antibiotics and had a surgery yesterday November 14th to flush the wound. she may be in the hospital for a few more weeks for observation, to continue to pump antibiotics, to make sure she won't go septic & to ensure that the MRSA is dying. I'm starting this Go Fund Me to try to help her out with her medical bills because her medical insurance has lapsed due to her dad going through an insurance change at work, so all the medical treatment she is receiving right now is out of pocket. on top of all the medical bills she has, she also still has her own financial responsibilities that she will struggle with being out of work and in the hospital. I am making this Go Fund Me to try to help relieve some stress off her shoulders and try to make this hard time for her a little easier. thank you for taking the time to read this very long story. anything helps, and if you can't donate, thank you for taking the time to read this and a share could really help spread the word. thank you everyone and god bless you all!
