Brooke Myshrall is a beloved friend and a proud Maine native whose strength and resilience have inspired everyone around her. In 2024, Brooke faced a life-changing diagnosis: Triple-Negative Stage 3B breast cancer (TNBC) with a BRCA1 mutation. She bravely underwent a bilateral mastectomy, 28 rounds of radiation, and five surgeries, ultimately reaching remission for a year and a half.

Recently, Brooke and her family received devastating news. Her cancer has returned with alarming aggression, now diagnosed as Leptomeningeal disease (LMD) stage 4, which has spread across her brain and spine. With treatment, the average survival rate is heartbreakingly short—just 2 to 6 months. Despite this, Brooke’s focus remains on her two beautiful daughters, Charley (age 3) and Ellie (age 7) and her amazing partner, Chris, who are her world.

Brooke’s greatest wish is to secure a future for her girls. She wants to leave them with the support and opportunities they deserve, even as they face the unimaginable loss of their mom at such a young age.
