Friends and Family,

As some may be aware, our sister-in-law, Brooke O'Brien, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

To know Brooke, means you know how generous, hardworking and loving she is. How she selflessly shows up to support family and friends any time a need arises. She brings light to all those around her, but shines brightest alongside her husband, Sean and their beautiful two-year-old daughter, Daphne.

After feeling a lump and seeking medical advice, Brooke was found to have an aggressive form of breast cancer, caught very early (stage 1A-1B). While treatment can vary depending on a myriad of factors, Brooke underwent a single mastectomy on Friday, 9/13. Fortunately, the surgery went well, and lymph nodes were all found to be clear after testing.

Brooke has begun the next part of her treatment journey and had her first round of chemotherapy this past Monday, 11/4. She will continue to undergo chemotherapy treatments throughout the next 15 weeks.
