Brook is a dear friend of ours. She lost her husband on Friday, March 20th, after a long battle with kidney failure among several other health issues. Michael leaves behind two children of his own and Brook's three children. Michael worked for the Marion County Sheriff's Office, where he was a devoted sheriff that served and protected the community for 15 years until he was diagnosed with kidney failure and had to go on dialysis. Michael was a devoted husband and father. We are trying to lighten some of the burden Brook is facing. Brook left her full-time job to devote her time to care for Michael the last few years. With Michael’s passing, Brook is left with very limited income. Caring for Michael was her full-time job. So not only did she lose her income for caring for him, she lost Michael’s social security as well. Some of the challenges she will be facing include having to move, as without his income she can’t afford where they are currently living. Donations will also be going to all after-life expenses. We just wanna help her any way we can. Our goal is to keep Brook in her home and give her time to find work and get back on her feet. Brook has the biggest heart and is always there for anyone in their time of need.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to supporting Brook, living expenses, after-life expenses, and to care for the kids.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping the Patterson family in your prayers.
We are deeply grateful for your love and support.
All donations are voluntary personal gifts to support Brook and the children during this difficult time.
No goods or services are being provided in exchange for donations.
