On March 28th, Bronson, a 28-year-old husband, father of 3, and sole provider for his family, went to the doctor for a check-up. While one of the nurses was listening to his heart sounds, they heard something that didn’t sound like it should. They had heard a significant murmur. Then after they heard the murmur, they scheduled an echocardiogram which showed a large aortic aneurysm measuring 6.8cm.

They rushed him immediately to the hospital by ambulance for more in-depth testing. The hospital found an enlarged aorta with an aneurysm and a stretched valve. They concluded that if he didn’t have surgery quickly, it could rupture at any time and take his life. It was by the grace of God it was found the way it was and not left untreated. The next morning, he was prepped and underwent a significant open-heart surgery, where they had to repair an aortic aneurysm and have a mechanical valve. Bronson is now recovering in the CCU.

As grateful as we are that the doctors found this when they did and that God was with Bronson through this whole process, this has been a very unexpected situation. With that being said, it has left Bronson out of work for a lengthy amount of time while he recovers. Hoping to take the financial burden off of him and his wife, Summer, during this time, I’ve created this fundraiser to help with their monthly bills and to cover all of the unexpected medical expenses.
