Hi my name is Brittney Leach, maiden name Swindall. On December 22nd me, my 15 year old daughter and my boyfriend were in a car wreck. We were driving toward Lucas at 55mph and my tire blew out. My car jerked straight into the guardrail and we came to a complete stop. I was the only one with my seat belt on, even though my daughter an boyfriend knew better.. I’m thankful they didn’t have theirs on because there’s a good chance we would none be here. The force of impact and my seat belt locking up caused my heart to stop. Thankfully a man living near by came to my aid and was able to administer cpr 2x to get me back. My daughter and boyfriend walked away uninjured outside of being sore. I’m currently going through a divorce and adapting to paying the bills all on my own. I started spark driving and was finally getting close to getting my life on track and my bills caught up when this happened but giving my kids Christmas set me back just like everyone else this time of year an the money I anticipated making to cover the rest of my bills was taken from me because now I have no car to work and even when I do get a car I’ll need time to heal before I can drive and carry peoples packages as my wrist is broken, my other hand is burned and my sternum is cracked. My insurance deemed my car a total loss and is covering 20,752.49 out of the 28500 I owe. I don’t have gap insurance, which means it’s all on me. Owing over 7000 is going to make it hard to come up with along with a down payment for a new car. Without my car I don’t have a job. I have 3 teenagers and I’m trying my best but anyone who knows me knows at each turn I take I keep getting knocked down harder. I know this time of year is hard, and I don’t expect anything from anyone but I am thankful for anyone who can help because I’m at a loss, I’m really about to lose everything. If anyone is able to help with anything.. me and my kids.. we really just can’t thank you enough and I can’t tell you what a blessing you are for your kindness but we are also accepting prayers because truth be told.. we could always use it. Thank you for taking the time to read this, Be blessed, be safe, CHECK YOUR TIRES.. and have a beautiful holiday season ❤️
