Brittney Campagna was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October of 2020 (of course it was in 2020). Just prior to her diagnosis, she had chosen to place herself in treatment to recover from an addiction she had battled for many years. Basically, she chose life and life challenged her strength.
Now, for the good news. Brittney's sister, Michelle Campagna, is an exact bone marrow match which will cure her Leukemia.
On March 18th, 2021, she will receive her fourth round of chemotherapy and the transplant will take place immediately after that. She will be in the hospital until the end of March and will then be transferred to a sterile recovery home in Tualatin until the end of June. During this time, her mother, Nickie Gephart, will be her caretaker rendering her unable to work. We are asking for help in order to cover the cost of their rent, bills, transportation and food during this time.
