On March 10th, Brittney Riffel tragically lost her husband Mel and brother-in-law Bennett in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 plane crash.
Mel and Brittney were married in 2017 and their baby girl is due in May. We know that Brittney is going to need a lot of support as a new mom to sweet baby Emma—let’s do what we can to take away the financial stress of this tragedy.
We began this fund with a goal of $30,000 in honor of Mel’s upcoming 30th birthday--but, if you knew Mel, you know he always lived life to the max. Inspired by his 100%-or-bust attitude, we are raising the fundraising goal to $100,000.
Mel and Bennett were my cousins and they will always be in my heart. Our family is deeply grateful for your gifts of support.
