Hi, I wanted to reach out to Britta and Chris’ friends and family to let you know that I have set up this GoFundMe site to help them pay for medical bills as Britta continues to fight her esophageal cancer. As many of you know, Britta has been fighting this current battle since 12/2023. This is her 3rd battle against cancer. She is a warrior, and I admire her strength as I am sure many of you do. Chris, her husband has been with her, taking care of her, every step of the way. Her most recent procedure, Histotripsy, essentially blew up a tumor in her liver using ultrasound waves. It was successful, but it is a relatively new treatment, is not yet considered standard treatment and insurance denied her claim. This GoFundMe will help cover that procedure and other medical bills that have piled up over the past 14 months. We want Britta and Chris to focus on her beating cancer, not worrying about how they will pay the bills.
