On September 27, I survived a severe domestic violence attack by my ex-husband that left me hospitalized in the ICU with multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvic bone, hip, collarbone, broken eye socket, and road burns from being thrown out of a moving vehicle. I am currently without insurance, so every medical bill and expense must be paid out of pocket. As a single mother to Lilliana Rae Gonzalez and Ayden Jacob Garcia, I am facing this recovery while also caring for my children and managing the impact on our daily lives.

My recovery is expected to take two to three months, with weekly x-rays, MRIs for brain swelling, and ongoing eye exams due to the severity of my injuries. At home, I need a pediatric walker, shower chair, bed rails, stepstools, and help with childcare so my children can have stability and I can focus on healing. Physical therapy is essential, and I will need to pay for these sessions myself. I am also working to make temporary accommodations for my business and hire help while I am unable to work.

This fundraiser is a way for me to ask for support until I am able to get back on my feet. I am preparing for court and doing everything I can to stay strong for Lilliana and Ayden.
