Brittany and I have been best friends since high school, sharing countless memories in Drama Club and supporting each other through every stage of life. Our bond is unbreakable, and I can’t imagine my world without her. Over the years, Brittany has faced more than her share of challenges. She was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer seven years ago, which she continues to manage with her doctors. Even after surgery, radiation, and ongoing pain, she has never let her spirit fade. Brittany will never be cancer free, but she deserves to have all the happiness in the world. She still has a lot of life left and we can help make it that much better by supporting her.

Last year, Brittany was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. This year, her doctors recommended removing her second breast, and she bravely decided to have reconstructive surgery to support her mental health and recovery. The process has been incredibly tough, both physically and emotionally. Brittany is currently recovering from her June surgery and will need another in September. She’s unable to work during this time, which means she’s facing mounting bills without a steady income. Her insurance covers only part of her medical costs, which leaves her with not only medical bills but also rent, utilities, and other daily expenses.

Despite her reluctance to ask for help, Brittany knows that rest and proper recovery are essential for her health and future. She remains hopeful and determined, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Your support will help Brittany focus on healing, rather than worrying about how to pay her bills. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to raise as much money as possible before then.
