Brittany was undergoing surgery for a known issue, but at that time unfortunately cancer was found.

She is being rushed into diagnostic testing and looking at options. While we are all grateful she can get prompt treatment, she is facing costs she was unprepared for such as copays, treatment and procedures that are required before she can get the help she needs. She will also need assistance covering her home costs due to her and her husband missing work. She is still unable to work due to the health condition that was untreated at the time of discovery.

Brittany works so hard every day (and night and weekend) to provide the best care to patients as a surgical technologist. She works along surgeons and staff to give the best help to those in need, and now she needs that help.

If you know her, you know what a bright light she brings to any room she walks in. She is the vibe and can make anyone smile. She sets the tone and it is always a beautiful one.

If you are in a bad mood, she immediately diffuses it with her generous hugs and big smile. She consistently picks up on-call shifts for her follow teammates so that they don’t have to leave their homes to care for emergent surgery cases. She never says no to helping anyone.

She has an amazing husband Jason and son Keegan at home. They will also need support while helping care for her and get her to appointments.
