Support Brittany Herring's Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello everyone! My name is Brittany Herring, and I’ve been living with end-stage renal failure for the past six years. I’m currently on dialysis three times a week, all while balancing work and school. It’s been a challenging journey, but I’m finally on the verge of a much-needed kidney transplant!

As I prepare for this life-changing surgery, I find myself in need of a little support from my community. While I usually hesitate to ask for help, the reality is that I need assistance with some unexpected expenses. Specifically, I’m looking to raise funds to cover a week-long hotel stay after my transplant, as Medicare doesn’t cover these costs. This will allow me to be close to my doctors for post-surgery care and monitoring.

Additionally, I’ll need help with gas money to travel back and forth for my appointments during recovery. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my journey toward healing and a healthier future.
