With heavy hearts, we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Anthony “Tony” Leonard, who lost his life in a side-by-side accident. Tony was a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, and a true friend to many. His sudden loss has left his family and community heartbroken.
Tony leaves behind his beloved wife, Brittney Leonard, and their beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Avery. Brittany and Tony had been together since 2014 and married in 2019. Their love was strong, their bond unbreakable, and their daughter the heart of their world.
Tony is also deeply missed by his parents: his mother and stepfather, Paula and Bob Sawitski, and his father and stepmother, Tony and Jodie Leonard — all of whom are grieving the unimaginable loss of a son taken far too soon.
Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman, happiest when he was outdoors. Whether in a tree stand at sunrise or casting a line on a quiet lake, he found peace in nature and joy in sharing those moments with friends and family. He lived life with passion and heart — and those who knew him will always remember his love for the wild, his sense of humor, and his loyalty.
