On Monday, July 21, 2025, at 9:30 am, Brittani Allen, the mother of Za’Niyah Denise Salter, woke up to her newborn baby not breathing. As any mother would do, Brittani began to panic and asked her best friend and cousin for help and to call the police. As the cousin proceeded to call for help, she was also instructed to perform CPR on Za’Niyah in hopes of catching her breath until EMS arrived. They rushed Za’Niyah to the EMS truck to perform more CPR. As paramedics did what they could, they rushed precious Za’Niyah to the nearest hospital. Leaving Brittany with panic and concern, she rushed right behind them to be with her baby, only to be told that she didn’t make it. The information devastated Brittani and the rest of her close family and friends so badly that it broke Brittani down physically in the hospital. The sorrow of losing this precious newborn caught us by surprise unexpectedly. All to find out it was SIDS! Za’Niyah’s family is very heartbroken from the loss of Za’Niyah. Everyone was happy that she made it to this life happy and healthy, only to say goodbye to her a month later. We’re asking if you could find it in your heart to help Brittani prepare for Za’Niyah's homegoing as she's now with God. We would absolutely appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you so much for taking the time out to listen to her story as we share the memories of Miss Za’Niyah and comfort her mother in this devastating moment. I also ask if you could keep them in your prayers as she gets through this difficult time. Thank you so much and blessings to you.
