In December, my daughter Britt was in a devastating car accident. By the grace of God, her life was spared, and her two children walked away with only minor injuries and bruises. Britt wasn’t as fortunate physically. She suffered a broken clavicle, L3 and L4 fractures, a fractured sacrum and ankle, multiple pelvic fractures, and several hematomas. She required multiple blood transfusions and surgery, and she is still in significant pain as she continues her long road to recovery.
Because of this accident, Britt lost her car, her home, and her job. Her entire life has always been very physical—she’s the kind of person who loves everyone, stays positive, and is always on the move—so being forced to slow down and depend on others has been incredibly difficult for her.
She would absolutely be upset with me for asking for help, but as her parent, I know she deserves the chance to get back on her feet—for herself and for the two babies she loves more than anything in this world.
Any amount of support will help ease the burden of medical bills, personal and child-related expenses, transportation, food, and housing as she heals. If you know Britt, you know she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Now she needs a little help from her village.
Thank you for helping my sweet girl and her children during this difficult time. Every prayer, share, and donation means more than words can express.
