Urgent Surgery for My Dog and Best Friend Bri

Bri isn’t just my dog... she’s my best friend, my constant, and such a huge part of my life. She’s only almost 6 years old and has always been full of personality (even if that sometimes meant being a picky eater).

When she stopped eating, I thought it was just her being her usual self but something didn’t feel right, so I took her to the vet to be safe. After four hours of testing, everything changed. I was told she needed to go to emergency care immediately and undergo surgery to survive.

This has all happened so fast, and it’s been incredibly overwhelming. I’ve already spent $900 at her regular vet, and I had to put down a deposit just to get her into surgery. The total cost is expected to be around $8,000 an amount I’m doing everything I can to manage, but it’s more than I can handle on my own.

Bri means everything to me. She’s still so young, and she deserves the chance to heal and keep living the happy life she’s always had.
