Support Brinkley Bohon's Cancer Battle

Hello Friends!!

My name is Morgan Scott and I am putting this page together to help one of my absolute best friends. If you know her, or her family, you know what a special person she is. She is a wonderful nurse, a wonderful mother to Adley, 5 years old and Lennox, 3 years old, and a wonderful wife to Mitch. I truly have never met someone as loving and strong as Brinkley Bohon. She has also been accepted into nurse practitioner school beginning August of 2024 pending her medical status. Some of you may know her story and some may not but I will give you a small breakdown of everything.

Brinkley was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma in February of 2023. She had a thyroidectomy in March of 2023. She had an abscess form in the surgical site, became septic, and was hospitalized. She was then taken back into the OR to remove the abscess a week and a half after her first surgery. She had her first radiation treatment in June of 2023. She found out in January of 2024 that the cancer had come back. She had a second dose of radiation at a higher dose in February of 2024. She had a scan in May of 2024 that unfortunately showed the cancer had metastasized to further lymph nodes. She is now going to have to undergo another surgery and further testing.

During this time, I ask that you keep her and your family in your prayers for the days to come. I would like to help her and her family with travel expenses, medical expenses and just in general life expenses having two young children.
