My dear friend of many years is moving back home to Chicago. They have spent decades of their life committed to arts and abolition work, working with youth and inspiring the next generation towards what is possible. But now, the current administration unfortunately interrupted their employment by canceling the grants that funded their salary. So, we've put together this fund to support them entering the next chapter of life.

With your help, they'll be returning to Chicago to continue their work in the city that raised them. We are looking to raise funds to cover the cost of renting a truck to transport their belongings and art. Please consider donating generously and sharing amongst your network to bring them here to Chicago. Thank you for your consideration.
